StepUP added value for companies in the construction sector

The StepUP project is developing a new process and technologies for deep renovation, minimising the performance gap, reducing investment risk and maximising its value. Also, it has the ambition of accelerating the renovation market through the adoption of an innovative set of products and of a scalable and solid methodology.

A fundamental feature of the project that enables the achievement of these ambitious objectives is the Open Plug & Play protocol: a document giving access to technology providers to conform to relevant standards at EU level but, most importantly, to the technical boundaries of the innovative technologies developed in the framework of the project.

In order to ensure that the Plug & Play Protocol is flexible enough to allow the co-integration of third-party technologies, StepUP has created a Technology Provider Cluster (TPC), a group of companies manufacturing construction products that could be compatible with and complement the Plug & Play technologies created by StepUP.

Are you a manufacturer of construction products?

Enrol in the StepUP Technology Providers Cluster!

StepUP is looking for companies manufacturing or distributing windows, blinds, active ventilation systems, air filtration systems (indoor air quality), IoT systems with data management, sensors, home automation systems, outdoor lighting, radiators, pipe systems or photovoltaic panels, among others, to be part of the project’s Technology Providers Cluster.

Participating companies are being consulted for feedback during different stages of the development of StepUP technologies and deep renovation interventions and are asked to provide information of their current capabilities and products to ensure the compatibility of StepUP products with complementary technologies.
